Tiny tanto
Small O1 tanto with paper Micarta scales, white G10 spacers, and stainless Trox fasteners. The razor sharp 1/8″ thick blade has been lightly etched with ferric chloride and the cutting edge brought to a high polish. Sheath is Kydex.
Finishing up
Marked, heat treated, coated, roughly sharpened, and ready for G10 scales.

Coyote brown O1 combat with 550 cord
O1 combat knife with coyote 550 cord wrap and black 2400 series GunKote for an anti-reflective finish. The blade has a hollow-chisel grind and spine traction grooves for added control. Custom coyote brown Kydex sheath.
FDE O1 combat knife with aggressive end
O1 combat knife with an aggressive strike-end and chisel-hollow ground blade. The blade has been coated with an epoxy-based firearm finish and wrapped with coyote brown 550 cord.
O1 throat slicer
The extremely sharp knife is made from 3/16″ thick O1 tool steel and has a hollow chisel grind plus an aggressive end. The steel has been finished with 2400 series GunKote and handle wrapped in black 550 cord. Roughly 13″ OAL. Sheath is made from Kydex.

Viking rune pendants
Rune pendants I made. The Tiwaz (pictured above) is carved into a slice of antler and painted red. This rune is associated with the god Týr and represents the warrior, valor, and victory. The Odal rune (below) is carved into steel and represents heritage, ancestry.
Normalization cycle
1084 high carbon steel hunting knife blank being put through a normalization cycle. I’ll do this a couple times to relieve the stresses of grinding and to refine grain structure. I also place a few pieces of scrap steel into the kiln which I’ll use to quickly heat up the quench tank.
